The project of major repair of the M-07 Kiev – Kovel – Yagodin highway on the KM30 + 600 – KM 64 + 000 section within the Kiev region includes:

• Underground pedestrian crossing at KM 37 + 865,000;
• Pedestrian crosswalk made of monolithic reinforced concrete.

The length of the tunnel part of the underground pedestrian crossing is 20.0 m, the height is 2.5 m, the length of the stairway on the left side of the crossing is 9.7 m, and the right side is 4.6 m, the width of the staircases is 3.2 m.

Accessibility of the structure to low-mobility groups of the population, including wheelchair users, is provided by the device of inclined lifts-ramps.

The length of the ramps on the left side of the transition is 29.5 m, and on the right side is 17.0 m.

The width of the ramps is 1.8 m. The ramps and staircases of the transition are glazed using polycarbonate sheets fixed in metal bearing elements having the shape of a circle.

The project also provided for the drainage of atmospheric precipitation and lighting of the pedestrian crossing.
